Jojoba contains “myristic acid”, a natural anti-inflammatory and therefore may be useful in arthritis and rheumatism. It contains natural anti-oxidants and when blended with other oils helps to extend the shelf life. It is resistant to rancidity and is frequently used as a super-fatting agent in cold process soap manufacture. Jojoba is often used as a base for essential oil blends and perfume oils.
